Engineering and consultancy in wind power generation

Tiemes assists clients in evaluating opportunities with the following activities:

Constraints and cartographic analysis

Identification of the general characteristics of the site (morphology, accessibility, orography, presence of buildings, cadastral properties)

Estimation of producibility with anemometric or mesoscale data

Definition of the layout

Preliminary analysis on the economic return of the project

Identification of the authorization process to follow and of the bodies involved; evaluation of the authorizations obtained/on-going for competitors projects

and, if they decide to pursue it, in the following steps:

Assistance in establishing preliminary contacts and interfacing with land owners

Grid connection request and follow-up

Wind farm design, preparation of documentation for authorization purpose

Environmental impact studies

Interface with institutions and stakeholders

Specialist reports and studies (Shadow flicker, broken rotating parts, geological, naturalistic, archaeological, landscape, hydraulic, acoustic analyses, photosimulations, drone surveys, etc.)

Tiemes also provides to clients Owner's Engineering services to monitor the construction, commissioning and performance of projects.

Tiemes has carried out consultancy activities for utilities and banks for the acquisition, sale and/or financing of wind power projects, with verification of the administrative process, estimation of the probability of authorization, producibility and value.  Tiemes has operational experience of co-owned plants and uses it in the design.  It provides also consultancy in operation with electrical measurements, assistance for installation of wind masts (authorisation procedures, construction site assistance, etc.), reblading and interface with Gestore dei Servizi Energetici SpA.
