Gas systems and energy storage engineering and consultancy

Tiemes has provided consultancy for the evaluation of opportunities for the acquisition or sale of biogas, biomethane and hydrogen generation projects to investment funds, technology companies and utilities.

It has carried out basic engineering and environmental impact studies for the authorization of this type of plant, including specialist reports such as:

Geognostic investigations and surveys with drone,
Analysis of the best technology,
Analysis of the supply chain and sustainability, in quantity and quality,
Analysis of the possibilities of using the by-products,
Production organization,
Hydraulic analysis and arrangements,
Design of the gas injection line into the network or of the liquefaction plants
Environmental impact study, including landscape, naturalistic, noise analysis, etc. and mitigations and compensations,
Interface with administrative bodies and procedures.

Tiemes has also carried out engineering for the authorization of LFP Battery Energy Storage Systems both in connection with energy generation plants and for grid support, including:

Geognostic investigations and surveys with drone,
Analysis of the best technology,
Connection design and interference resolution,
Hydraulic analysis and arrangements,
Fire prevention design,
Interface with administrative bodies and procedures.

In the first years of activity, Tiemes also carried out consultancy for the identification of nodes of the network of interest for the installation of combined cycle and open cycle power plants, then carrying out design and impact analysis for authorization purposes, including simulation of emissions into the atmosphere , identification of the most convenient components and the most suitable cooling methods, integration with nearby heating and cooling needs, interface with local communities and stakeholders.
